Kamala Harris Asks Town Hall Audience If America ‘Ready’ For Her Presidency. Crowd Shouts ‘No!’
White House wannabe Sen. Kamala Harris is not a very good candidate.
The California Democrat has been polling in the low single digits for the past few months after rising a bit after attacking then-frontrunner Joe Biden.
Perhaps it’s her campaigning style, like her town hall this week in Reno, Nevada.
There, she said to the crowd: “There’s this whole conversation that has been coming up about electability focused on our campaign.”
“Is America ready for that?” she asked.
Several members in the audience shouted “no!”
A surprised Harris offered her own answer: Well, yes they are.”

Now, Harris was a longtime prosecutor in Los Angeles. She went on to become Attorney General in California. As any good lawyer knows, you never ask a question to which you do not know the answer.
Harris doesn’t even appear as if she’ll do well in her own state. A new statewide poll of likely voters released Wednesday by the Public Policy Institute of California shows Sen. Elizabeth Warren at the top with 23%, Biden a close second at 22% and Sen. Bernie Sanders in third with 21%. Harris stands at just 8%.
