BLM Organizer On Chicago Looting: “That Is Reparations … Anything They Wanted To Take, They Can Take It B/c These Businesses Have Insurance”
John Denver| Opinion| We have said it before and we will say it again: the real issue here is one revolving around culture, not race. The disgusting events that transpired on Chicago’s famed ‘Miracle Mile’ this week, and the response of a BLM organizer tells one all they need to know.
On the off chance that you did not see what a rabid mob of entitled criminals did to downtown Chicago, take a look at these videos:
CHICAGO CHAOS: Extensive damage in downtown Chicago after night of looting and rioting:
Here is what the city looked like afterword:
Fox News explained:
‘Black Lives Matter members in Chicago held a rally on Monday to support the more than 100 arrested last night following widespread looting and rioting that caused at least $60 million in property damage and saw 13 police officers injured, according to a report.

The rally was organized by Black Lives Matter Chicago and was held at a police station in the South Loop where organizers say individuals are currently being held in custody. At least one organizer called the looting tantamount to “reparations.”
“That is reparations,” Atkins continued. “Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.”’
Now compare those videos of crazed mobs tearing down Western Civilization with this photo of a small/family business owner trying to clean up after seeing their store ransacked:

Both the videos and the image feature ‘minorities,’ there is one big difference here: culture. Until we stop telling people that they are doomed to failure and entitled to commit crimes because of the color of their skin, things are not going to change.
As for reparations, I’m pretty sure this Indian family does not own any slaves. How people can get on TV and defend this behavior, even glorify it, with a straight face is beyond me.
As the American icon, Henry Ford famously said: ‘“Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t–you’re right.” I never thought I would quote President Obama, but it is time we start saying ‘Yes, we can’ and stop telling them ‘No, you can’t.’
