New Video Shows Jacob Blake ‘Resisting’ Wisconsin Cops Before Reaching Into His Vehicle and Getting Shot [VIDEO]

Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old black man who was shot seven times by a Wisconsin police officer on Sunday was involved in a brawl with several Kenosha cops just minutes before the shooting.

Never before seen video taken during the incident reveals the events that lead up to the shooting, although the footage is taken from the opposite angle of the initial viral cell phone clip where Blake is seen walking toward his SUV before he’s shot.

In this latest video, Blake is seen fighting with at least two Kenosha police officers.

Blake then manages to break free from the scuffle and starts walking from the passenger’s side of his vehicle to the driver’s side.

After he opens his driver’s side door, gunshots ring out. The video ends there.

Ask yourself this. If you were one of those police officers, in today’s environment, and you were on a domestic violence call, which usually means the person you were called about is angry and sometimes out of control with emotions by the time you arrive on the scene, and the suspect just fought his way out of your custody and went around the other side of the car, and reached in for something, would you wait for him to turn around and shoot you? Did he have a weapon when he turned around? Was Blake known to carry a weapon in his SUV? These are the questions that need to be answered before people go around setting buildings on fire.

The officers involved in the shooting were put on administrative leave and it’s being reported that they cooperating with investigators, according to the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ).

The state’s DOJ started an investigation into the shooting immediately.

Blake, who’s listed in serious condition at a Milwaukee hospital, was shot in the back seven times in front of his three children after police were called to his home to reports of a domestic dispute on Sunday.

Video of the shooting of Blake rapidly went viral, and the mobs began setting cars on fire, smashing windows and fighting with officers dressed in riot gear throughout the city and all through Sunday night into the wee early hours of Monday morning.    They also set a furniture store on fire, and a building that houses the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

On Monday, the police union released a statement criticizing Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, a Democrat, who instantly condemned the “excessive force” used by the cops.

president of the Kenosha Professional Police Association, Pete Deates said in a statement, “Anytime deadly force is used, our hearts go out to those affected by it.”

“We assure you an independent investigation is being conducted by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation.

“Until that investigation is completed, we ask that you withhold prejudgment about the incident and please the let process take place.

“Governor Evers’ statement on the incident was wholly irresponsible and not reflective of the hardworking members of the law enforcement community, not to mention the citizens of the City of Kenosha.

“As always, the video currently circulating does not capture all the intricacies of a highly dynamic incident. We ask that you withhold from passing judgement until all the facts are known and released.

“We, along with the citizens of the great City of Kenosha, ask for peace and to let the process play out fairly and impartially.”
