Bombshell: New Memo About George Floyd Leads to Question why Cause of Death was Ignored for so Long
The prosecutors who have charged former police officer, Derek Chauvin with murder released a shocking document on Tuesday, that shows a likelihood that George Floyd died from a drug overdose, and the fact that the prosecutors knew of this information since the end of May and hid it from the public is leading people to question why riots were allowed to go on in Floyd’s name against American citizens, private property and the Police.
In a newly uncovered memo, Dr. Baker, who performed the autopsy said, “if Floyd had been found dead in his home (or anywhere else) and there were no other contributing factors he [Dr. Baker] would conclude that it was an overdose death.”
It is shocking that Baker felt so confident about why Floyd could not breathe, yet there has been so much misinformation about Floyd’s last moments, leading to mass civil unrest and agitation, with Democrats adding it to their Presidential Platform.
Not only that, but prosecutors have also known these facts about a drug overdose as a cause of death, for months. Former state and federal prosecutor George Parry also covered the story, a copy of the full memo in his American Spectator story at the link.
At 7:30 p.m. on May 31, 2020, prosecutors “met” online with Dr. Andrew Baker, Chief Medical Examiner of Hennepin County, to discuss Floyd’s toxicology report.
The memo of that meeting is embedded at the link, from the American Spectator article.
So there they were, staring at the just-received and damning toxicology report that blew to smithereens the whole prosecution theory that the police had killed Floyd. To their undoubted dismay, Dr. Baker, the chief medical examiner, had to concede that at 11 ng/mL, Floyd had “a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances.” He also conceded that the fentanyl overdose “can cause pulmonary edema,” a frothy fluid build-up in the lungs that was evidenced by the finding at autopsy that Floyd’s lungs weighed two to three times normal weight.
This is consistent with Officer Kueng’s observation at the scene that Floyd was foaming at the mouth and, as found at autopsy, that his lungs were “diffusely congested and edematous.”
In other words, like a drowned man, Floyd’s lungs were filled with fluid. And that was the obvious and inescapable reason why Floyd kept shouting over and over again that he couldn’t breathe even when he was upright and mobile.
And yet the homicide prosecution against four Minneapolis Police Department officers continues.
It is quite telling that this explosively exculpatory June 1 memorandum was not released by the prosecution until August 25, 2020. All of which prompts these questions:
First, why did the prosecution wait three months to release this memorandum?
Second, if the prosecution had released this information in a timely fashion, would that have helped to quell the anti-police outrage that has fueled the nationwide orgy of rioting and looting?
Third, in light of Floyd’s toxicology results and the medical examiner’s assessment that Floyd’s fentanyl overdose caused him to essentially drown in his own bodily fluid, why haven’t the charges against all of the police defendants been dropped?
The Black Lives Matter, Marxist agenda is threatening to transform the United States of America. The highly professional messaging, branding and PR is everywhere we look, as a badge of commerce, and in virtue signaling, even in school curriculum, all around the Country. Their themes and mottos have invaded our American Institutions, and dictated policy and in some place laws.
“I can’t breathe”
This newly uncovered memo has gotten very little evaluation by the Democrats and their media allies, even after they have spent countless thousands of hours discussing every element of the death of Floyd, speculating over the guilt of the offiers and of each and every single American for being racist.
The Democrat and their media allies have encouraged the dismantling of local police departments over Floyd’s death, leaving massive shifts in American criminal justice, a foundation of civil liberties. This is not an insignificant matter.
Indeed Floyd’s death has changed the world, because of the “House of Cards” and disaster it represents to violent gangs of Democrat foot soldiers, who have exploited Floyd’s life and death to push for their socialist agenda, should cause journalists to evaluate the legitimacy of the claims that Floyd was wrongly killed at the hands of racist and out of control police.
Yet the Democrat Media allies have no concern at all that it may have been nothing more than political theater.
Perhaps they really were all in it together.
