Trump in Kenosha, “We are Going to Help you” Funds Law Enforcement and Small Business with 47 Million

President Donald J. Trump, in a highly controversial move, made an appearance in Kenosha Wisconsin with the Attorney General William Barr, and Chad Wolf the head of the Department of Homeland Security, on Tuesday after the National Gaurd stopped violent domestic uprisings in the area over a police shooting and subsequent uprisings, to survey the area and meet with local leaders and law enforcement.

Trump pledged 1 Million to Kenosha Police, 4 Million to rebuild small business and 42 Million to support law enforcement in the state.

“We are going to use all of our tools and all our resources to bring these people to justice,” said William Barr, about the rioters.

Kenosha was the place of brutal looting, destruction and violence against small businesses and people who were trying to protect their property in late August.

“We are going to help the businesses rebuild what was destroyed, this is a great state. We are going to get it straightened out,” Trump said upon landing.

“The violence stopped the minute the National Guard got to this spot,” Trump said, while on the ground in Wisconsin and ahead of round table meetings.

ROUND TABLE MEETING

“We are here to show our support to the state of Wisconsin, we are all in this together and this is an example of what can happen when things are done right. Senator Ron Johnson, who is respected in the beautiful halls of Congress. Kenosha was ravaged by anti-police and we were able to get involved,” Trump said.

Trump was joined with local, state and federal law enforcement leaders as well as small business owners.

ON DEMOCRATS

“Kenosha has been hit by Anti-American riots, we can’t let violent mobs burned down public buildings and destroyed 25 business this is domestic terror, my admin worked with state authorities to stop business and I strongly support the use of the National Guard, and everything would be over very quickly, the coordination was great but what has to stop the is the wreckless left politicians that police are racist or oppressive, and we must give more support to law enforcement, these are great people and they are fighting to save people they never met.

We have to help them to do their job, not threaten them if they utter a bad word. We need to condemn anti-police rhetoric and we have some bad apples, we won’t be easy on them, they are under tremendous pressure,” Trump said

ON MEETING WITH THE BLAKE FAMILY

Trump was not planning on meeting the leaders of the Black Lives Matters, or community organizers in the area who were responsible for organizing the protests. “I am meeting with the Pastor who represents the [Black] family, I thought it was for the best because of the legal issues that could come out of this, and it is still being investigated. I was going to meet with the Mother, who I hear is a fantastic woman, but there were so many lawyers, I felt it would be best to meet with the Pastor,” Trump said.

“A lot of people are seeing what has happened to these Democrat-run cities and are disgusted, we had a great success shutting down a city, Kenosha, that would have been burnt down to the ground,” Trump said.

WATCH:

Prior to the visit, Trump has insisted that using the National Gaurd to stop violent uprisings in other areas would be effective, while his democrat opponents attempt to frame the violece as starting from the Federal focus of “Law and Order”, leading people to see a difference in the Republican and Democrat platforms.

Trump says National Guard is effective:

The Blake family, members of the man shot in a police incident that sparked the most recent uprisings has been turning to the streets for days, agitating crowds and major looting has occurred against small businesses, destroying many storefronts in the town.

Democrats say that people calling for violence, while asking people to not riot,is what is effective with their push for community policing.

Trump is seen meeting with local small business in front of a few of the looted and burned out buildings in Kenosha Wisconsin.

In front of the courthouse, prior to Trump’s visit, competing groups met and crossed paths. A Fox News reporter said that, at the spot on Tuesday, there were chats from the left saying “Black Lives Matter”, and chants from the right of “All Lives Matter”.

Trump’s appearance in the area was bemoaned by the Democrats. The Uncle of a man shot by police in the area told Fox News he wanted Trump to stay away, however, Trump went and planned on meeting with leaders to take an opportunity to bring some healing to the area.

Democrat Joe Bidden made the comment Tuesday that when he resumes in-person campaign, after Labor Day he would also visit Kenosha.
