CNN White House Correspondent Jim Acosta has become an anti-President Donald Trump activist since the first day the president set foot in the White House.

In the beginning of his administration he would go after the president or his press secretaries at the press briefings themselves.

But as the time has gone on, and he has suffered numerous humiliating beat downs, he has become a coward and has waited until after the press conferences to take his swipes.

That is what he did on Monday after the president held a press conference on Labor Day and he was in the loving arms of his CNN comrades.

“Just as they used the White House for the political backdrop for the convention on the south lawn of the White House, he did the same on the north of the White House,” he said after the briefing.

“It is very unusual to see the President of the United States give a press conference in that north portico area. I’m not sure it’s ever happened, at least not in a long time,” he said.

“And he essentially used it as a campaign event. This was a rally disguised as a news conference. We’ve seen this before, we’ll see it again.

“I do think it’s somewhat surprising that he doesn’t just go out and hold a campaign rally or speech somewhere, why he feels he needs to do it from the White House. I think that’s a question that needs to be asked,” he said.

But the actual question that Acosta should ask is why are his colleagues in the media asking these questions if they do not want the answers.

The president did not make statements about former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris, the Democrat nominees for president and vice president, unsolicited.

They made comments about a potential coronavirus vaccine first and cast doubt in the minds of the nation’s citizens about its effectiveness.

“They’re political lies. They’ll say anything and it’s so dangerous for our country what they say,” the president said.

“But the vaccine will be very safe and very effective and it will be delivered very soon,” he said of the potential vaccine.

“And what’s happening is all of the sudden you’ll have this incredible vaccine and because of that fake rhetoric, it’s political rhetoric, just for politics,” he said.

It came days after California Sen. Harris said she would likely not take a vaccine prior to Election Day because she does not trust the president.

“I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about. I will not take his word for it,” she said.

If Acosta wants to find the people responsible for playing politics with people’s lives he should start looking at the Biden and Harris campaign.
