Man Wearing ‘Justice For Breonna Taylor’ T-Shirt Randomly Shoots Three Innocent People in a Bar

Friday night, a black man entered a Louisville bar that is owned by a retired cop and he allegedly proceeded to randomly shoot three people at point-blank range. The shooter wore a Justice for Breonna Taylor t-shirt.  It is possible that this could have something to do with why he did it, however, there is no solid proof.

The suspect was evil, grinning smiling ear to ear while he was being arrested for the shooting murders at Bungalow Joe’s Bar and Grill.

Michael E. Rhynes

Police arrested Michael E. Rhynes Jr, 33, a little after midnight on Saturday when they found him crawling around in the brush close to the restaurant, according to a report from WDRB.  Police said the clothes Rhynes was wearing were a match to what the suspect on a security video feed was wearing and that he used a handgun loaded with several rounds that were manufactured by the same company that made the shell casings discovered at the scene.

The shooter was wearing a “Justice for Breonna Taylor” t-shirt.  Fake News has yet to cover the story, because the shooter was black, he was wearing the Breonna t-shirt, and since he was arrested and not shot to death by police, the media has no political use for the story.  I think we can all safely assume that had he been wearing a Trump 2020 shirt you just know it would be the top news story until Election Day.   Taylor became a Black Lives Matter cause after being killed by Louisville Police during a “‘knock and announce” raid.  Her drug dealer boyfriend shot at police during the arrest.

“I didn’t think I’d be scrubbing blood off my patio on a Saturday morning,” Bishop told WDRB News. “I thought I was getting ready for everybody to watch the ballgame.”

Bishop added, “Nobody had ever seen this guy before,” talking about the shooter. “It was a totally random act.” He explained that the men didn’t trade words at any time prior to the shooting.

Bishop went to sleep and he got a call about 11:15 pm Friday from one of the restaurant’s managers about the shooting. When he arrived at the restaurant, one of the victims had been rushed to a hospital, and two others had been lying on the patio.   Bishop said that it was a normal Friday night at Bungalow Joe’s when a man walked up to the restaurant and shot three customers, all men, who were sitting in the patio area at point-blank range.

“Social media is full of people saying this happened and that happened and wanted to get political with it.”  Bishop allegedly went on to say that he didn’t think there was anything political about the shooting.

Rhynes faces three counts of murder and his arraignment is scheduled in court for Monday.  He received a $2 million bond, according to the Louisville Metro Corrections online booking log.

One of the victims was black and two were white.

Toreon Jermaine Hudson, 26, and William Scott Smallwood, 48, were pronounced dead at the scene, and Steven Matthew Head, 24, died from his injuries at University Hospital.

One of the victims was engaged to the bar manager.  All three men worked together.

“Why? Why?” Bishop asked. “I mean, I could understand if there was an altercation, but why?”

“Very first customer I had in the place,” Bishop said of Smallwood. “Well liked by everyone. Didn’t have an enemy in the world. He was a regular; he was a fixture here. Each time you came up here, there was a good chance Scott was going to be here.”

GoFundMe page was setup to help cover the victims’ funeral expenses.  On Saturday, people from the community created a memorial for the three men outside Bungalow Joe’s.

In all his years in business, Bishop commented that he only had to call the police to Bungalow Joe’s one time.  He noted that the sign above the door to his place is what best describes his restaurant, a family grill and pub.

“They’re my family,” he said. “My customers, my employees — they’re just all my family. And when they hurt, I hurt.”

Police still have no motive for why Rhynes did the shooting.
