As Senate Prepares To Vote On Trump’s SC Nominee Democrats Threaten To End Justice As We Know It By Packing The Supreme Court [Opinion]
[Opinion] After months of being on the defensive while under horrific attacks from institutionalized leftists – Joe Biden, his allies in the Democrat Party, and the compromised mainstream Marxist media – due to the CCP virus outbreak, the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has changed everything.
President Trump has seized the agenda and it appears he will own the headlines until his appointment is confirmed after he, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised to push forward with filling the now vacant seat prior to the election.
The move to fill the seat puts Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden on the defensive. Despite repeated promises to release a list of candidates he would choose to fill the vacant seat, he has failed to do so. With good reason.
President Trump made his list of candidates a centerpiece of his 2016 campaign. This provides Trump with the political capital to move now. Biden hasn’t released such a list… and he almost certainly won’t lest he open the chasm in his party for all to see.
Biden has been running a two-track campaign. One track as moderate Joe. The other relying on the energy of the Sanders’ radicals. Releasing a list would almost certainly expose the rift his campaign is desperate to hide.
Considering the likelihood that the Supreme Court will be called in to adjudicate the problems that will arise from extended voting deadlines and greatly expanded mail-in balloting, everyone should be in agreement that the potential for a four-to-four split by the under-filled court to create a Constitutional crisis has to be avoided for the sake of the republic.
A majority of Americans appear to embrace this sentiment…
A Marquette University poll revealed that 67 percent of respondents believe the Senate should proceed with confirmation hearings this year if a vacancy occurred. Most notably, the survey found that the majority view does not tend to vary by party affiliation.
The reality of all of this has hit Democrat leadership square in the face and they’re scrambling to make the case against filling the seat in spite of the arguments they made during similar circumstances, previously.
Here’s the comments from then-Vice President Joe Biden while pushing for the confirmation of 2016 Obama-appointee Merrick Garland:
“I made it absolutely clear that I would go forward with the confirmation process as chairman even a few months before a presidential election.”

The political ads will write themselves. This has Democrats calling for more riots and overriding the rule of law…
If he holds a vote in 2020, we pack the court in 2021.
It’s that simple.

Filling the SCOTUS vacancy during a lame duck session, after the American people have voted for new leadership, is undemocratic and a clear violation of the public trust in elected officials. Congress would have to act and expanding the court would be the right place to start.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” Senate Judiciary Committee member Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) stated that voting on D.C. statehood and Puerto Rico statehood, expanding the size of the Supreme Court, and eliminating the filibuster will be “on the agenda” in discussions among Senate Democrats on how to handle Republicans moving forward with filling Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Supreme Court seat. Illinois Democrat Senator Dick Durbin appeared on CNN’s Newsroom yesterday where he echoed his party’s coming intentions to pack the court.
.@GOP We were put in this position of power and importance to make decisions for the people who so proudly elected us, the most important of which has long been considered to be the selection of United States Supreme Court Justices. We have this obligation, without delay!

This is not going to end well, no matter the outcome. The Democrats have shown themselves willing to do anything, to get power back. No matter the cost to the nation, if it results in the accumulation of power the Democrats Party is ready, willing and able. Buckle up and PREPARE.
