#FillTheSeat – 83% of GOP Voters Want Trump To Fill Ginsburg’s Seat!

President Trump says his Supreme Court list is down to 5 people, announcement coming Friday or Saturday.

Trump made his announcement during his phone interview on Fox News’, “Fox & Friends” this morning.

The issue of filling the now vacant set of the late- Ruth Bader Ginsburg is heating up, and might even eclipse the fervor we saw during the impeachment proceeding less than a year ago.

With just a handful of GOP US Senators on the fence, the Democratic leadership and massive leftist owned media platforms have set aside COVID-19 for a short time to try to create a huge anti-confirmation sentiment in the country, hoping they will influence the senators to vote no on any confirmation until the next Presidential term.

The reasoning for this move is the left, just like in 2016, are convinced Democratic Presidential nominee Jose Biden will defeat President Trump on November 3rd and would nominate a far-left activist for the open seat, in hopes of preserving Roe vs Wade.

The Christian, pro-life base for President Trump is just a zealous for demanding the senators allow the confirmation process to go through and vote yes if the nominee is qualified to sit on the court.

A new poll from Rasmussen just confirmed that the conservative is strongly behind filling the seat while the Democrats and disconnected independents would prefer they wait until after the elections.

Via Rasmussen Reports

Republicans overwhelmingly want President Trump to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s U.S. Supreme Court seat, but among all voters, just over half think he should leave the position vacant for the winner of the presidential election to fill.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey found that 45% of all Likely U.S. Voters feel Trump should nominate someone to fill Ginsburg’s seat on the high court. But 51% say he should leave the position open for the winner of the 2020 presidential election. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Eighty-three percent (83%) of Republicans think Trump should nominate someone. Just as many Democrats (84%) say that nomination should be made by the winner in November. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 44% say Trump should nominate someone now, while 48% believe he should wait.

The poll information is interesting but the harsh reality, for those in the minority, is elections have consequences, and this time the left got caught off guard.

Their parties decision to remove the filibuster for Supreme Court and federal confirmation votes by then-Majority Leader Harry Reid and Ruth’s decision to not retire while battling cancer, when Obama could have chose her replacement, are coming back to bite them.

If the process goes through, the 51% in the poll will have 25 plus years to endure Hillary losing in 2016, every time this new justice votes for liberty.
