No Green New Deal: After the Debate Google Searches for ‘Moving to Canada’ Spiked in Some Democrat States

A peek into the mindset of what is most likely left leaving Americans in most likely left-leaning states, after Tuesday night’s debate between President Donald J. Trump and Joe Biden may indicate that people who are more comfortable with Socialism over Trump’s promise of Economic Nationalism, were not happy with Biden’s performance.

Biden at the debate distanced himself from the far left base, demanding numerous times that he did not partner with Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, nor did he support the radical “Green New Deal”, which may have triggered the google searches.

However on Biden’s own website is what appears to be an agenda that is very close to how the authors of the deal represent their “Green New Deal”, confusing people.

In a section of his own site:” THE BIDEN PLAN FOR A CLEAN ENERGY REVOLUTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE”

WATCH:

“The Socialists are going to dominate you, and you know that,” Trump said.

Biden said that he was the Democrat Party when Trump pushed him on topics of Socialism, and Trump teased Biden and said, “that is not what Harris said”.

Democrat Kamala Harris from California is considered one of the further left Senators in DC and was videotaped saying the “Harris-Biden administration”, confusing people about who would be in charge in the partnership.

They weren’t alone.

The Independent wrote, “The online queries, which included “move to Canada” and “how to apply for Canadian citizenship”,  jumped dramatically during and after the polarised 90-minute debate in Ohio.

The search for “how to apply for Canadian citizenship” peaked roughly an hour into the debate and was particularly popular among internet users in Massachusetts.”

The states of Washington, Michigan, Illinois and Ohio also recorded high volumes of the same query on Tuesday evening.

Jake Tapper who is known for his personal hatred of Trump, was not happy about the debate, indicating that the didn’t think Biden was doing well:

What could have been driving these searches and disappointment in Biden’s performance, which was his peak energy and clear thinking performance in months, was Biden’s denial of Socialism and especially “The Green New Deal” which is the invention of the far left for what many economists see as a takeover of the American economy, and a means for controlling Americans and small businesses.

Many of the supporters of former Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders reluctantly got behind Biden, with the promise of Biden bringing their ideas for Socialism to DC.

Sander’s supporters do not like Capitalism, Free Market Capitalism/ Economic Nationalism, that is a fact. They prefer economic models like Socialism and Globalism and even Communism.

Business Insider wrote,”

Google searches for “move to Canada” spiked after the presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden Tuesday night.

Searches for “how to apply for Canadian citizenship” spiked at around 10:30 pm, the New York Post reported

If the debate has you thinking about making a move to the US’s northern neighbor, it is theoretically possible — but certainly not easy — to move to Canada. Becoming a Canadian citizen is tough. You need to first be a permanent resident and have lived in Canada for three out of the last five years, among other requirements.”

According to Wiki, Socialism is a leading political ideology in Canada, having received many citizens after the American Revolution who were not happy about the idea of Independence from the Crown.

Socialism in Canada has a long history and along with conservatism and liberalism is a political force in Canada.[1]

Canada’s socialist movement is believed to have originated in Western Canada. The Socialist Labor Party was formed in 1898 in Vancouver. The Socialist Party of British Columbia in 1901. The Socialist Party of Canada was the first Canadian-wide based Socialist party by native Canadians, founded in 1904.

Later, the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919 and Great Depression (1929–1939) are considered to have fuelled socialism in Canada.”

Trump’s economic plan is on the ballot, and he is heavily invested in bringing American jobs back to the United States that were spread around the Globe, giving Americans an opportunity to get jobs, and cutting Business Regulations developed by a large Government, giving Americans opportunities to start their own Small Business, on driving costs down and on Tax breaks for Americans. It is vastly different than Biden’s confusing thoughts on what he supports.

And according to the Debate on Tuesday, Trump thinks it is worth fighting over.
