War Brewing Inside Democrat Party As Ocasio Cortez Refuses To Say Whether Or Not She Will Support Pelosi For Speakership
I really, really, really do not like Nancy Pelosi. However, I do see the tight spot that she is in and I do not envy her either. Pelosi, at 80 years old, is so consumed by her need for power, control, fame and fortune that she is running for yet another term as Speaker of the House … provided the Democrats keep the chamber following the November 3rd elections.
Pelosi, who was born before the United States even entered World War 2, has volunteered for the impossible task of bridging the gap between the ‘moderate Democrats’ (yes, there are some) and more importantly, the citizens who are not communists, but just can not stomach Trump … and the radical Marxist wing, lead by AOC, Ilhan Omar and the squad. That balancing act would make a Wallenda nervous.
It appears the Nancy is trying to woo AOC over to her side as the Speaker, as she will need the far left wing of the Democrat party if she wants to rein over the House for another 2 years. However, Ocasio Cortez, who seems fully committed to destroying the American way of life and the greatest economic engine the world has ever seen, with her ‘Green New Deal‘ and similar, pie in the sky, almost comical ideas.
Fox News reported: ‘New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared to violate her truce with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday, sparking what could become renewed infighting between the progressive wing and moderate congressional Democrats if the party retains control of the House in 2020.
Ocasio-Cortez told CNN host Jake Tapper Sunday morning that she plans to support the “most progressive” candidate for House speaker, and that she would consider other Democratic candidates to replace Pelosi’s position if the California Democrat doesn’t measure up. ‘
“If Speaker Pelosi runs again, as she just indicated she will, if the Democrats keep the House, will you support her?” Tapper asked.
“I want to make sure that we win the House,” AOC responded. “I do believe that we will, but it’s critically important that we are supporting Democrats in tight swing races, making sure that not only all of them come back but that we grow our majority.”
The former bartender added, “I believe that we have to see those races as they come, see what candidates are there. I am committed to making sure that we have the most progressive candidate there. But, if Speaker Pelosi is that most progressive candidate, then I will be supporting her.”

Shortly after Ocasio Cortez was elected to office in 2018, and joined the Congress in 2019, Pelosi met with the loose canon, and self described socialist, likely to try and induce a ‘come to Jesus’ moment. If that was what Nancy was hoping for … she failed … miserably. AOC has since proposed the ‘Green New Deal’, which some experts estimate could cost as much as $93,000,000,000,000.00 over the next 10 years … or nearly 50% of current GPD … ON TOP OF the 21% or so of GDP the government usually spends.
The US Gross Domestic Product in 2019 was about 21.41 trillion bucks. The federal government spent about 4.45 trillion, 20.78% or so of the value of everything Americans created in the year. AOC’s plan is to spend ANOTHER 9.3 trillion or so (if we assume the 93 trillion would be spent evenly over the next 10 years, which is a big assumption) which would put federal (and only federal, not including state) spending at 13.75 trillion dollars.
That means, assuming we would be able to maintain the 21.45 trillion GDP with the government taking control of the vast majority of economic activity (which I would bet my left .. kidney, we could not) the feds would be spending 64% of all the entire nation’s GDP. It’s literally INSANE.
If you think taxes are high now, under a ‘Green New Deal’ the government would have no choice but to either insanely increase taxes (we only raised 3.46 trillion in tax revenue in 2019, we borrow the rest of the money needed to fund the budget) or, we could ‘print the money’ and go into hyperinflation. what a great set of choices, ehh?
If you care about your children’s financial future at all, you have to stop the Democrats from seizing power this year. I’m not in love with the Republican Party, but at this point we have no choice. If we do not stop the Dems in 2020, it could be curtains for Western Civilization as we know it.
