Minnesota Democrat AG Keith Ellison Interferes in 2020 Election by Limiting Trump Rally to 250 People

Minnesota, ground zero for the George Floyd riots that threatened the entire nation, is now a battleground state for the 2020 presidential election, and, for Donald Trump, a state of government-sanctioned voter suppression.

The venue for President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Minnesota that was scheduled for Friday has been restricted to only 250 people after partisan political hack and former DNC chairman Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who beats his girlfriend, put pressure on the business owners of multiple locations.

The rally was originally planned for the Rochester airport, but Ellison’s office demanded a “COVID preparedness plan” from officials from the City of Rochester, Olmsted County, and the Rochester airport, as well as the Republican National Committee to ensure the event was safe.  Anyone who knows Ellison knows he would love for a large crowd of Trump supporters to die of COVIID-19, so his intentions are  not really about the safety of those attending, but as a means of voter suppression by limiting the number of people who can attend.

Thanks to Ellison’s election interference, the event was moved to Dodge Center, prompting Ellison’s office to ask the Trump campaign and the owner of the building McNeilus Steel for their “COVID Preparedness Plan.”  I highly doubt the Minnesota AG asked the Biden campaign for a COVID preparedness plant for their huge rallies.  Oh, wait, that’s right.  People don’t really go to Biden rallies on the rare days that he hasn’t called a lid on campaigning by 9 am.

That prompted the Trump campaign to move the event again, back to the airport.

“Thanks to the free speech-stifling dictates of Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison, only the first 250 people will be admitted,” the campaign said in a statement Thursday night.

“Without question, Minnesota Democrats had hoped that the President would simply cancel the event, but he will not allow partisan politicians to deprive people of their First Amendment rights to gather peacefully to hear directly from the President of the United States,” the statement continued.

Trump supporters volunteering for the occasion instantly expressed their outrage on social media once they heard from organizers that the rally location was canceled.  Comparisons had been made with the large numbers of protesters over the summer because the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

Minnesota Republican chairwoman Jennifer Carnahan called out Ellison and Governor Tim Waltz for suppressing the First Amendment right to free assembly.  Democrats no longer live by the Constitution.  They use timing to their political advantage.  They know how long it would take for a judge to rule their orders as a violation of people’s Constitutional rights, and there are no consequences from breaking the law in that manner.

“Suppression. Interference with our first amendment rights,” she wrote on Twitter. “This is what Gov Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison are doing by abusing the power of their offices to block us from seeing our President!”

President Trump repeatedly calls his rallies “peaceful protests,” exempting the campaign from Chinese virus restrictions on American citizens, especially in Democrat states.

The local politics of rallies to screw over Trump and Trump supporters during the rona continues to grow and fester in states led by Democrats.

A Biden rally is scheduled to be held at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee on Friday, less than a week after the airport refused to allow President Trump to have his rally there.  That’s a problem stemming from Trump’s success.

A spokesman for the airport told Wisconsin local talk show host, Dan O’Donnell, that Biden’s rally will be much smaller so it’s permitted.  Technically, Biden’s crowds don’t really represent a rally.  In fact, the lines to the bathroom at Trump rallies are larger than Biden’s rally crowd.

Ellison defended his tyrannical actions by giving a statement to ABC5 News saying it was part of his responsibility to keep Minnesotans “safe” from the COVID-19 virus, even though he said and did absolutely nothing to control the riots and protests that broke out for months after the May death of George Floyd.

“We did not cancel this event: indeed, we have no authority to cancel events and have never cancelled an event,” he said, and added, “As Attorney General charged with enforcing our executive orders, I take very seriously my responsibility to stop it from spreading and cannot not exempt anyone, regardless of their political views, from complying with requirements to keep all Minnesotans safe from it.”
