Feds Slap Hunter Biden With Subpoena For Foreign Business Records: Report
Federal prosecutors subpoenaed Hunter Biden on Tuesday. The requested information is about his records for companies he dealt with overseas including Burisma and several Chinese companies. He has already announced that he was under investigation for his taxes. There are now four ongoing investigations on Hunter Biden.
These investigations were started in 2018 before Joe Biden announced his run for president. Therefore any claim that they are politically motivated is just fake news. He is also allegedly being investigated for money laundering. That has yet to be confirmed. When Hunter announced the investigation into his taxes, he left out the rest of the details and possible charges.
According to the AP, the subpoena comes from the U.S. attorney’s office in Delaware and seeks records on Burisma and unnamed Chinese companies. Hunter was given a board membership shortly after Joe was named as liaison to Ukraine. He later withheld one billion dollars in aid until they fired the prosecutor investigating his son.
Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevesky, was under investigation in Ukraine on bribery charges and in England for money laundering. Burisma was paying both Hunter and his business partner over 80k a month for sitting on the board of Burisma.
Not bad for a drug addict with zero experience. I can’t understand why they didn’t hire me, I have no experience either and if need be, I would take up doing drugs for 80 grand a month.
Biden also consulted for CEFC China Energy, a major Chinese energy firm whose chairman had suspected links to the People’s Liberation Army.
A Senate report released on Sept. 23 revealed that CEFC wired Biden nearly $6 million from August 2017 to September 2018. The report said that U.S. banking regulators flagged some of the wire payments for potential criminal activity.
The Republican senators who released the report said that Biden’s financial dealings raised “criminal financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns.”
The president-elect has refused to answer questions from reporters about the investigation of his son.
“I’m proud of my son,” he said Friday when a reporter asked if he believes Hunter Biden had committed any crimes.
