Nancy Pelosi Barely Reelected As House Speaker
On Sunday, by a very slim vote, Nancy Pelosi was re-elected Speaker of the US House of Representatives as a new Congress took office during a time of uncertainty politically, with control of the US Senate as yet undecided and a Republican fight coming over presidential election results after evidence of massive voter fraud in the key battleground states where Democrats stole the election from President Donald Trump.
By only seven votes the House voted 216-209 to reinstate Pelosi as Speaker, this after Democrats lost eleven seats in the November elections, giving the Democrats an even smaller majority of 222-212. Only five Democrats voted against Pelosi for Speaker, two Democrats voted for members who weren’t even running, and three others voted “present.”
The Senate is still under Republican control while we head into two runoff elections in Georgia that will be held on Tuesday.
Multiple state legislatures held election fraud hearings where they heard multiple witnesses testify as to massive election fraud that they witnessed on Election Day and afterward as they worked in vote counting centers. The Trump legal team has obtained over 1,000 signed affidavits, under penalty of perjury, where the whistleblowers described the different types of fraud they witnessed. Some tried to stop it, and others who served as Republican observers said they were forced out of vote counting centers so that they couldn’t observe. Some of the whistleblowers reported that they saw Democrat operatives running the same batches of ballots through the counting machines multiple times, all for Joe Biden. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
And yet we still have liars in Fake News outlets like CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, the New York Times, the Washington Post and others who continue to report that there has been no evidence found of election fraud to match the claims that President Trump has made. They are either deaf and blind, or just plain stupid, because the rest of the world knows they’re reporting lies.
On Wednesday this week the Congress is set to certify the election, but there are Republican members of Congress who are going to object to certification for the battleground states where all the evidence was collected showing massive election fraud. I wonder if the liars will continue to report there’s no evidence after the Republicans present it all? They probably will.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has pushed for an emergency 10-day audit of election results in the battleground states. His efforts drew criticism from Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) who may be going back to his old ways now that he thinks Trump will not be president for long.
“It appears to be more of a political dodge than an effective remedy,” Graham said in a statement. “I will listen closely. But they have a high bar to clear.”
Does the senator from South Carolina think evidence of massive amounts of voter fraud is high enough? Graham has had to have been paying attention over the last two months as the Trump legal team has gathered and displayed their evidence.
If the Democrats win both Georgia Senate runoff elections it could be the end of our republic as we know it. With the things the Democrats have promised they will do if they take control of the House, Senate and the White House would really end the great American experiment. We would become a full blown socialist country within the first year. We would go bankrupt and our economy would collapse. What happened to Venezuela would happen here. That’s how high the stakes are.
Even if the Republicans keep control of the Senate, the narrow majorities in both houses of Congress would be a delight for the so-called moderates of both parties. Cowards that moderates usually are would take advantage of the situation by commanding that they get their way or they don’t vote with their party. I could see Mitt Romney pulling a stunt like that as he is one of the biggest rhinos who cares more about his own self image then the United States while giving us platitudes about our constitution and our country.
“From political division to a deadly pandemic to adversaries around the world, the hurdles before us are many and they are serious,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said from the well of the Senate floor.
“But there is also plenty of reason for hope,” McConnell added, noting the ongoing rollout of the COVID vaccine. “I’d say 2021 looks bright already.” Not if we lose the Senate.
House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, the chamber’s # 2 Democrat, also said in a statement that he hoped the new Congress would “turn the page” on partisan division “and begin a new chapter of cooperation among Democrats and Republicans.”
Who does Hoyer think he’s kidding? The Democrats are the ones created the partisan division. They accused President Trump of being a Russian spy from the day he took office. They knew it was a lie, but they continued to push it for over two years. The House Democrats then impeached an innocent president for something that Joe Biden actually did. No, Congressman Hoyer, there will not be a turning of the page. Democrats behaved in the most disgusting ways we have ever seen in modern times.
Even if a single one of the two Republicans running in the Georgia runoff election wins, the GOP can stave off the slaughter of our republic that Democrats have been promising. They can stop a lot of the House’s agenda and the nutty policies Joe Biden has been talking about.
But I’m getting ahead of myself, as the president has not yet given up his fight to overturn the election results, because he won the election by a landslide and the Democrats stole it from him.
