President Donald J. Trump discussed voting irregularities and fraud in Georgia and around the country at the rally in Dalton, Georgia, Monday night, the night before the final voter were to be cast for the run-off election that would settle two Senate seats.

But there is more going on from the state. of Georgia than just the two Senate Seats, state Senators are unhappy and want Trump to take action.

During the speech in Dalton,  Trump referred to the months-long demands of Georgia’s state legislators who wanted a special session to examine the election from November and were denied numerous times by the state officials.

Lawmakers on Wednesday, the 6th,  are scheduled to vet each state’s Electoral College votes. On Monday, Vice President Mike Pence was in Georgia to rally for the two Republican Senators. At the time, he heard the concerns of the residents of Georgia.

“We want you to do the right thing on January 6,” a man from the crowd shouted as Pence asked the supporters to do the “right thing” and vote for Loeffler and Perdue. A few minutes later, a woman shouted a similar request.

The people were asking Pence to allow the States, especially Georgia to contest the election results and share their evidence of voter fraud.

“I know we all got our doubts about the last election,” Pence said when the crowd chanted “stop the steal.”

The Epoch Times reported that Georgia state Senators wanted to call Wednesday off and extend it.

As Trump said at the rally Monday night, the Governor of Georgia, Brian Kemp, refuses to allow the legislators to examine the calculations and ballots and decertify the vote because they are unhappy.

“Republican state senators in Georgia started a push on Monday to delay the Jan. 6 counting of electoral votes. At least a dozen have signed a letter directed to Vice President Mike Pence asking him to delay the count officially—and the number is still growing,” The Epoch Times reported.

“There’s about 16 or 18 of us now that signed this letter to the Vice President … asking him to delay the electoral vote for 10 to 12 days,” Sen. Brandon Beach told The Epoch Times.

“We were going to get it to him tomorrow morning,” Beach said, adding that more Senators might still sign-on.

Beach says that he is concerned about the integrity of the election. “People are saying yeah there is something here, there’s something that just doesn’t pass the smell test—that there were some irregularities, there was some impropriety going on in the voting process,” he said.

A group of 12 Republican senators and at least 55 members of the House have committed to lodging an objection on Jan. 6 to Democratic slates of electors from Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. The House and Senate will hold separate sessions for up to two hours of debate for each state objection, followed by a vote on which electors to count. Republican electors in the seven states have cast procedural votes for Trump, which will be opened alongside Biden’s state-certified votes.
