Mike Lindell Told Rush Limbaugh Audience he was Banned on Twitter After Hint at a Run for Governor
Mike Lindell may be considering a run for Governor with the support of President Donald J. Trump. Still, he was banned from Twitter shortly after an article appeared on the topic by John Solomon’s Just the News, so his attempts to gauge interest has been severely cut back.
Lindell was on the Rush Limbaugh show on Tuesday to talk about it.
“About 17 days ago, Twitter took me down and was re-tweeting me, and I was taking things down, and after they gave me my account back to post, I retweeted a story about my real background and about 3 mins later then banned me for good.
It is like identity theft. People were telling me that my account was tweeting politically correct statements, that is so bad.
Because I spoke out about the Dominion machines’ problems, the Sleeping Giant group contacted the big box stores to get me discontinued at some stores. That is what Sleeping Giant does.
I did nothing wrong but said that we wanted to make sure the machines were fair.
I wasn’t even political in 2016, and people hated me then for supporting President Trump. My Pillow will survive; people love this product. We have been down this road before. I am not bending to cancel culture.”
In fact, Lindell is so popular he is thinking of running for office and has a large platform now.
According to Just The News, “Mike Lindell, the inventor of My Pillow, is reportedly considering a run for governor of Minnesota and says former President Trump promises him an endorsement.
The president has told him before that he would back his bid for governor of Minnesota, Lindell told The Associated Press.
“Mike, if you did it, I would get behind you,” Lindell said Trump told him last week when he visited the White House.”
Trump himself confirms Lindell’s statements in previous statements:

On Monday, Lindell was also permanently suspended from using Twitter.
David J. Harris Jr, the owner of DJHJMedia, reacted on Twitter:
“@realMikeLindell is gone! This is disgusting!!! They want to take every voice off of Twitter that goes against their narrative! He needs our support! The code TRUMP2020 is still active at ; let’s mypillow.com use it!!!”

The AP reported on the suspension:
“Twitter has permanently banned My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell’s account after he continued to perpetuate the baseless claim that Donald Trump won the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
Twitter decided to ban Lindell, who founded bedding company My Pillow, due to “repeated violations” of its civic integrity policy, a spokesperson said in a statement. The policy was implemented last September and is targeted at fighting disinformation.
It was not immediately clear which posts by Lindell on Twitter triggered the suspension of his account.
Lindell, a Trump supporter, has continued to insist that the presidential election was rigged even after U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration has begun.”
NPR reported on Monday on the new tactics to tether supporters of President Donald J. Trump and stop the spread of information from their accounts.
“Twitter announced a new civic integrity policy this month that states that users may not use its service “to manipulate or interfere in the elections or other civic processes.”
Posting content that could repress participation or deceive people on the civic process would also be considered a violation, the company said.
Facebook, Twitter, and other tech giants suspended Trump’s verified accounts earlier this month, in the days after a mob attacked the U.S. Capito,” NPR reported.
“President Trump is the best President we ever had, and I am sticking with him,” Lindell said.
