Democrats Will Not Release Federal Report Concluding ‘No Evidence’ That Online Free Speech Causes Hate Crimes
There’s news that will blow up the theories of the Woke Supremacy in DC and elsewhere over disinformation the lefties throw out every day about the origins of hate crimes. According to a report that was sent from the US Department of Commerce to Congress back in January “hate crimes” did not happen because of free speech on the Internet, but this report doesn’t appear on any government website. The Democrats are keeping a lid on it because it will destroy their current battle to gaslighting America into thinking any speech that doesn’t match their political narratives is disinformation and therefore is hate speech and therefore must be silenced.
There are reports of some hanky panky going on with the revised report that originally was sent to Congress back in 1993. The report was prepared by the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), the group that is supposed to advise the President on anything that has to do with telecommunications and the internet.
It was written to revise the findings of a previous report from NTIA back in 1993 that was headlined, “The Role of Telecommunications in Hate Crimes.” The document was prepared during the Trump administration but a request to revise it came from the 116th Congress (now) which is controlled by Democrats who are nothing more than political ideologues who lie at the drop of a hat.
The 1993 report is still available on the Internet for the public to read, just click here. However, the last revision of the document is nowhere to be found.
Democrats make a living throwing out hyperbolic statements about hate crimes and they have a vested interest in keeping people frightened and angry because it pays off in dividends for them politically. The narrative the Woke Supremamcy puts out is that there are a thousand times more hate crimes committed in this country than there really are. And the problem with hate crimes is the definition of what makes up a hate crime is dependent on who is in charge at the moment because there is never any consistency on how hate crimes are charged.
“Reports like this are typically made public,” said an anonymous source who worked on the report with the NTIA. “I don’t know why this report isn’t up on a government website yet. It’s already been submitted to Congress, it’s not a private thing anymore. I suspect the Civil Rights Division might have something to do with it.”
The source revealed that the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice (DOJ) was vehemently opposed to the updated report because they make their bread and butter prosecuting hate crimes.
The source also pointed out that people in the Civil Rights Division are the ones who push “efforts to drum up hysteria” over white nationalists in the US, which is highly overdramatized. We see ten thousand times more leftist violent hate groups like ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter attacking people on the streets but that’s not the narrative the people in the Civil Rights Division want to push.
Even with the complaints by the Civil Rights Division the report was approved and sent to Congress, which is now sitting on it because it doesn’t appear anywhere and no one in Congress has talked about it. I think many Democrats know about it and are remaining silent because they’re in the race hustling game, but I think a lot of Republicans may not know it’s out there, otherwise they would have brought it up in the light of some of the outrageous things Democrats have said about white people and accusing anyone who disagrees with them as being a racist or even a white nationalist.
The report explicitly says that there is no evidence of a causal relationship between the growth of Internet usage and hate crimes. According to the report, there isn’t even a correlation and yet the Democrats and their boot-licking sycophants in the Fake News media keep pushing the absurd idea that there is a surge in hate crimes over the last half-decade saying, “The evidence does not show that during last decade, a time of expansive growth of electronic communications, particularly on the Internet and mobile devices as well as social media, there has been a rise in hate crime incidents.”
The report also warns that efforts to clamp down on online communications over unfounded concerns about “hate crimes” will undermine First Amendment values.
Maybe the following words taken from the report are why it’s not published anywhere online:
“We caution that efforts to control or monitor online speech, even for the worthy goal of reducing crime, present serious First Amendment concerns and runs counter to our nation’s dedication to free expression. To quote President Barack Obama, ‘The strongest weapon against hateful speech is not repression; it is more speech.’
“…this research, and much like it, fails to demonstrate any causal relationship between increased social media use and increased violence. This research does not present even comprehensive descriptive data correlating increased hate speech on social media with increased hate crimes.”
Isn’t that something? So the next time your Democrat representative tells you that the reason they are removing your freedoms and liberties is because of a rise in hate crimes that are planned online send them a copy of the report and ask them where’s the revised version.
